El Nido, Philippines.

The Philippines is a beautiful archipelago in South-East Asia. More than 7,000 islands compose this country that features one of the longest coastlines in the world. For many years, the country was occupied by the Spanish, reason why the Philippines is the largest Catholic country in Asia. Koh Lanta Island, Thailand.

Cosy, festive, exotic, tropical and historical, those are the main characteristics of Thailand, a country that shines with its light. Thailand is a country that offers a large number of attractions and idyllic beaches, like the world famous Phuket. However for this post, we decide to choose Koh Lanta.

Koh Lanta is one of the great Thai islands but still quite rustic, untamed and with fewer visitors. It also has everything that Thai tourist destinations propose: good hotels, affordable restaurants and a vast array of outdoor attractions. The island features an idyllic location opposite Krabi on the Andaman Sea and an hour by ferry from the islands of Phi Phi or Phuket. There is nothing better than renting a motorbike and go around in the narrow streets full of palm trees where you can even find elephants eating along the side of the road. And of course stop on deserted beaches that no one has been walking for a long time, Koh Lanta offers beaches for all tastes.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Perhaps it doesn’t have the same festive atmosphere as its Thai neighbour nor the historical notoriety of the neighbouring Vietnam. But don’t let that put you off to explore this amazing country. Sihanoukville is located south of Cambodia in the Bay of Kampung Sao a few hours away from the capital Phnom Penh.
